OO 3.0 Leopard Missing Pages in .doc

I sent a .doc file written in word from my pc to my mac. When I look at the preview in my Apple mail, it shows 4 pages but when I open it in writer, there is only one page. Any idea why? Thanks. Gary

Can you upload a sample file (see: How to attach a document here)?

It may be linked to the formatting, especially if there are tables that could have been imported as frames. Do you see frames in the Navigator (F5)?
