The converted doc file is always with text boxes, why?

Post by bil80 »

I use openoffice version 4.2 on my Debian, when i convert a pdf to doc using this command line:

Code: Select all

 soffice --infilter=writer_pdf_import --convert-to doc 1.pdf
the converted doc file when i edit it, it is with text boxes.

Is there any option to allow to convert into doc withtout text boxes?
OpenOffice 5.2.7.2 on Linux Debian 8

LO 6.4.4.2, Windows 10 Home 64 bit

See the Writer Guide, the Writer FAQ, the Writer Tutorials and Writer for students.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.
