Hi OpenOffice Community,
I'm facing an issue of converting the .odt document to PDF. The fonts overlap and the text boxes are resixed.
Can somebody guide on the leads?
This has happened after we upgraded OS.
LibreOffice 4.2.8.2 420m0(Build:2), Ubuntu 14.04
Soffice process is started i headless mode:
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin --headless --accept=socket,host=127.0.0.1,port=8100,tcpNoDelay=1;urp;
When we conver the document via command line it gets converted without throwing any errors but the PDF document is broken.

Re: .odt to PDF conversion issue
Welcome to the forum.
It sounds like a missing font problem. Remember that the font showing in the Writer font drop-down selection box is the font the document is asking for. This may NOT be the font being used to create the display because, if the font being asked for is not installed on the PC, Windows (or other operating system) will silently substitute a different font which is available.
The TestFonts add-on is invaluable for finding missing fonts which the document is asking for, but which are not installed on the PC.
You can see which fonts are installed on the PC by Start > Control Panel > Fonts or by clicking C:\Windows\Fonts.
AOO embeds all fonts used in the document in a PDF - check the File > Properties > Fonts tab to see which have been embedded.
