Hi,
It is impossible to pin the openoffice applications in the Dash, on the left after launch. Could that be fixed for next version please?
I had to search for a link to launch Openoffice 4. That took a wile. I found nothing of Openoffice with "Dash Home".
I post it's path here to help others: /opt/openoffice4/program/simpress
I still have no idea where the icons are. I was unable to add it manually.
Maybe my expectations for this version are to high.
There is still hope...
EDIT: I'm satisfied with my shortcuts that I made on my desktop.

OpenOffice 4.0 on Ubuntu 12.04
Re: Launchers in Dash & launchers in search
I was certainly able to do it on XFCE-Panel in Xubuntu 13.04
name: OpenOffice 4.0.0
command: openoffice4 %U
name: OpenOffice 4.0.0
command: openoffice4 %U
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.15 on Xubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
Re: Launchers in Dash & launchers in search
There is only one OpenOffice application and this application is dockable in the dash. The starter starts OpenOffice with its welcome screen (all components, recent docs, templates, extensions etc)
