[Solved] "Save As" Command

Post by spikels6 »

I back up my large spreadsheet files on another external disk or other media and normal use the File/Save As command to do so or overwrite a previous file to update it.

With the 3.4.1 version, no other media come up to save to. Why won't Open Office recognize more than just the hard drive I am using?

The drive may not be mounted in your Ubuntu. If it is, you could navigate to the mount point and access it from there if you/it have sufficient rights..

Your OOo settings may have changed.

Try this: Tools > Options > OOo > General > Open/Save dialogs > Use OOo dialogs: OFF
