How to force OO to create temp files at a given dir

Postby cadabam » Fri Feb 22, 2013 1:27 am

I am running some pdf export jobs using the API and I see a lot of temp files created on my /tmp directory

The files look like
OSL_PIPE_.....
jna8098070....tmp

Is there a way I can clean up these files after pdf export is complete. Or is there a way to tell the API to create the temp files at a given dir so that I can delete the dir when the job is done ?

Thanks,
Pradhan

I believe I have run OOo with the TMPDIR variable set and it created the temp files in the specified directory--but I'm not 100% sure I'm remembering correctly.

You can set the temp directory in Tools > Options > Paths
