I can't install extension

Post by babylon2233 »

I'm using OpenOffice 2.4 on Ubuntu 8.04. I try to install two extensions but both of them can't be install. It say "could not create java implementation loader" and I discover OpenOffice didn't detect my JRE and I could not add any path it say "the folder did you selected did not contain any java runtime environment". I have install 4 kind of JVM(Java6,OpenJDK,GCJ and Java5) just to install the extensions. What should I do now?

Thanks

Ubuntu version of OOo has a lot of bugs, install original OOo version.

For java problem delete /home/<user>/.ooo-2.0/user/config/javasettings_Linux_x86.xml file, restart OOo it will create again.
AOO 4.0 and LibO 4 on Win 8
