Hi folks.
Has anyone got a stable solution to this?
I have the same problem with LO 3.5.4 crashing on choosing Options.
Additionally, there are no icons on the toolbars, it shows text only and has basically become unusable.
I have completely removed it twice, remove the /etc/libreoffice dir and the /HOME/.libreoffice/ dir but to no avail.
This version just looks like it is broken.
If no one can help, it looks like I'll have to try and find an old version to install, or go and get the Oracle version, as I suspect that they have the resources to put in to the project to keep the app stable.
Yours in anticipation

Re: [Solved] OOo 3.2 crashes when I choose Tools>Options
I would try renaming your user profile folder. Close all LO processes first. When you re-start the software, it will create a new profile folder. If that doesn't work you can restore your old folder.

User profile is now in /home/<user name>/.config/libreoffice/.neiljmac wrote:I have completely removed it twice, remove the /etc/libreoffice dir and the /HOME/.libreoffice/ dir but to no avail.
If no change with the user profile, try to install LibO from the deb of their website instead of the packaged version by Ubuntu.
Please add '[Solved]' at the beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

Hi folks.
Thanks for the advice both Kingfisher and Hagar. Much appreciated.
I will try that when I get home this evening.
I didn't know about the change in user profile location and that might explain why it did not work for me.
If it works, I'll post up a -solved- notice
Thanks again
Neil.
