"Update all links" hidden when program already opened

Post by wild_oscar »

When you have a DDE link on the document it prompts a "update all links?" dialog box whenever you open the document.

In 2.4.0, however, if you already have OO opened with another document, the prompt will be hidden in the previous OO box and you have to minimize to that window to see the prompt.

This happens in the Linux version.

Could you confirm if this issue reproducible so it can be filed as a bug?

What Linux distro exactly? It may be a problem with the windows manager. I'll try at home this evening.

Can you give more details? Does it happen when you open the second file from the OOo interface or from the file browser?

I move the thread to the Linux forum (works fine under W2k).
LibreOffice 7.6.2.1 on Xubuntu 23.10 and 7.6.4.1 portable on Windows 10

When I open it from the file browser.

I'm running Ubuntu 7.10, installed OO from the .debs.
