I have used the method on http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=26173to install multiple versions of open office on my ubuntu box. It used rpm2cpio. Is there a way to do the same thing except using the deb package? I would like to install 2.4 without removing the old version.
Thanks,
Fr. Robert

Re: multiple versions
What's the point? using the .deb package system is to keep a 'clean' system and to avoid parallel versions of a same product. So either you stick with this philosophy or you use the rpm2cpio method.
