MySQL Connector Extension : loading component failed

Hi,

I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and the Ubuntu version of OpenOffice 3.2. I am trying to add the MySQL Connector extension. I keep getting "loading component failed" with a reference to the mysqlc.uno.so file. I have followed the path to the file and it is indeed just where it is supposed to be.

I haven't a clue how to fix this. Any help appreciated!

Use ubuntu version of connector with your linux package manager. Some extension from OOo site not usable with Ubuntu version of OOo.
