Hi, I am running OOo 3.2.1 on Linux (Suse 11.3 distribution)
I have created a hyperlink in Calc which points to a jpg image.
When I click on the link, the image is opened within Firefox.
I would like it to open the image in Gwenview.
How can I instruct OOo to handle jpg images (or any other kind of file) in the way I prefer?
I guess Gwenview is already the default application on Suse (other programs - Dolphin for example - use it to open jpg files)
Thanks,
Simona

Re: Hyperlink: how to associate gwenview to a jpg file
I am not sure how you can do it...but I can tell you that it definitely is possible, since it is how OpenOffice.org 3.3RC8 handles hyperlinks to jpg on my OpenSuse box by default.
LibreOffice 4.0.5 on OpenSuse 12.3/64bit/KDE4.10 (Version from the TDF page) + LibreOffice 4.1.1 on Debian Wheezy/64bit/KDE4.8 + LibreOffice 4.1.1 on Win7/64bit

Are you sure that Gwenview is the default viewer for your .jpg files? I only ask because Firefox installed itself as the default viewer for jpg files on my Ubuntu box.
Quick check - browse to a .jpg file and double click on it - what does it open in?
If it's Firefox you will have to change your system default.
Otherwise it could be something with a .mozilla or something similar inside your home directory, or the mime types associated with the .mozilla config.
