OpenOffice.org Colour Scheme / Appearance Problem
Hey ho!
I have a problem using open office. Actually im really satisfied with it, but since i changed my OS to Ubuntu i have problems with its appearance. My Ubuntu Desktop is quite dark coloured and Open Office uses the same colour scheme. Thats my Problem, i dont want it to look like my gnome desktop. I want it to look like the default Open office. Can somebody give me an advice how to set it to the default colours?
thanks in advance and have a good day!

You see the input box in the top-right corner of the current page? Type "color scheme" and hit enter.

Re: Open Office Colour Scheme / Appearance Problem
Actually, I think your question is different than what others have asked about. Usually, people want OOo to follow their desktop theme, which it does, but the result is not very satisfying. They want to tweak OOo's appearance, which is not possible.
However, if I understand correctly, you want OOo to ignore the desktop theme and have the default appearance.
OOo has no setting for that either (that I know of anyway), but I wonder if the system does not allow it--to exempt certain applications from using the current theme? If I were you, that's the direction I'd look in. It might be a configuration file (e.g. .gtkrc) or some environment setting that you could put in a wrapper script. Unfortunately, that's probably going to mean finding a Gnome, or KDE, or Ubuntu support resource.
Whatever you find, maybe you could let us know.

Same Problem here.
It would be a good addition to have a default scheme.
