Hi.
I have an old 32 bit computer that I recently installed Elive Linux onto.
I first uninstalled Libre Office (because only very old versions are supported on 32 bit platform).
I then downloaded the Open Office 4.1.10 (DEB, x86) and installed it following the instructions here
https://www.openoffice.org/download/com ... #linux-deb
However, after installing Open Office, no items are added on the main menu, nor in the fancy IBar, nor can it be added to the IBar.
I can see that the OpenOffice executable is located in /opt/OpenOffice4/program/ and I'm able to execute the "soffice" shell script from here by using the file manager.
Is this something I should file a bug report for, or is there a easy way to fix this ?

Did you include the desktop integration in your installation?
Code: Select all
sudo dpkg -i *.deb desktop-integration/*.deb
OpenOffice 4.1 on Windows 10 and Linux Mint
