Often such a query suggests that in the installation, the user has omitted the final part, which is in the unpacked installation files to change to folder "desktop-integration" and once again run "sudo dpkg -i *.deb". This places links to the OpenOffice components in the Office entry on the menus.
On my Xubuntu 20.04.2 system the query "which openoffice4" replies "/usr/bin/openoffice4", which in turn points to "/opt/openoffice4/program/soffice"
