Installing fails

Post by otv »

Hi,
I have a Acer laptop running Windows 10
When I try to install OO, it halts after extracting installation files.
I can only run setup, then it quits.
I tried deactivaiting Norton and other progs.

After using OO for almost 2 decades this is very frustrating.

Anyone had similar problem and knows a fix

Where the installer was downloaded from?
Use the official page, and try to download it again.

Or try to install the LibreOffice.

Downloaded from Apache site.
Also there was some bundle with recommended software for download, Acer-shell, and the 4.1.3 link provided did the same, started, but halted.

After you click the Download button on the Apache site, you will be redirected to the SourceForge servers.
Once there, just wait for a few seconds and the version that you selected will automatically download. You do NOT have to click anything else on the SourceForge site, and we recommend that you don't click anything else.
