I have updated to the latest version (4.1.7). By mistake I updated to US language. When I try to reinstall the system tell me that I have to delete the existing version first. What to do?

Best is to remove the US version first.
Go to Windows Start --> System --> Apps and, in the searchbox, typ: OpenOffice.
That should bring up OpenOffice 4.1.7 and the option to remove it.
After removing, download the right version for you and install it.
There should be no problem now.
