Disk Error report in Writer

Getting an occasional disk error message from Writer when opening a document with images in it. These seem to happen when busy Win 10 system, no system error message found. Could this just be due to busy system?

Have you defragged your disk recently? I have no experience of modern Windows, so am not certain if defragging is still needed, but a badly fragmented disk years ago greatly slowed disk access,
