I like your user interface used to select a word processor, data base, etc. - especially the opportunity to open most recently used files.
However, I would like to have an icon on my Win 10 desktop to directly open your spread sheet (it also gives an opportunity under "File" to open recently used files and that's wonderful".

Go to the folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice 4\program
and look for the file scalc.exe. Right click on it and select Send To -> Desktop (Create Shortcut)

In older versions of Windows, you could add shortcuts to the Desktop using the shortcuts on the Start Menu. In Windows 10, there is an extra step:
