[Solved] OpenOffice 4.3.1 on Windows 10

Open Office has suddenly stopped working. I am unable to open the programme, any files (I have a couple saved on my desktop). Help please, driving me nuts

This may or may not solve the problem, but won't hurt. With OO closed, start TaskManager (Ctrl Shift Esc) and Kill any soffice processes shown on TM's tabs. Note there is an initial "s" in "soffice". Then try OO again.

There is an old rule "If it is not broken, don't fix it". If OO is working for what you need, stay with the version you have.
