Hello everyone,
I was hoping someone on here could help me.
I need to send my CV to a recruiter ASAP and of course my documents won't open.
I've tried opening OO as a program and also the specific document I need, but it won't work.
I have also checked the task manager to see if there are any soffice processes on there, but there aren't any.
I've tried opening the program from the root file in the C drive.
None of this has helped and I'm not sure what to do.
I've tried everything that I can think of. Does anyone else have any ideas?
It would be very much appreciated.
Thank you all in advance!

Re: OO won't open
Please check TaskManager again; there should be a setting to display processes for all users.

Hi Rory,
Thank you for your reply.
I checked and there is only me on there and I checked all processes and there's nothing.

Re: OO won't open
Try renaming the OO user profile.
As your Forum .sig says you are using Windows close OpenOffice and the Quickstarter. Open File
Explorer. Copy and paste %appdata%\OpenOffice\4 in the File Explorer (sometimes called Windows Explorer)
Address Bar and press Enter. Rename the "user" folder - "user.old" is a good choice. Start OpenOffice.
If that does not work, then reinstalling OO is the next step.
