I have been using 4.1.5 for a couple of weeks. It opened all my existing .odt documents. Today it when I try to open an existing document I get the SEH violation. I downloaded 4.1.5 just now and reinstalled it and I get the same violation. I am using Windows 10 What's going on and how do I correct this fatal problem?

A quick search of the forum, using the search box located at the top right of the screen, brought back a total of 31 posts (including yours).
Some of them were marked Solved, some were not.
The first one that came up in my search that was marked as solved is here

Yes I already did that and found no solution. Please give me the link you found. The reference link you provided deals with a slide show presentation not opening existing documents

Thank you robleyd but I don't see any solution to the problem. Is there a post that gives a solution? Well the second time I restarted my computer seems to have fixed my problem. I am sorry for wasting everyone's time.

Here is one of the possible reasons and one of the possible solutions:

viewtopic.php?f=10&t=85090&p=396160

And an another tip:
Try the LibreOffice (Still) 5.4.7version ot tthe LibreOffice (Fresh) 6.0.5 version.

More tip:
The AOO/LO can not update/change automatically. It can damage only in some cases. If the full (clean) reinstall of the AOO not help, then you need check: What was changed in the Windows 10 after an automatic update.

And for a wild guess; is maybe Windows Defender playing around in your system? If you have Windows Defender activated, see this topic for a possible solution.
