Hi to all of you,
ive been using open office for some months now for my invoicing and general small office stuff. Opened it today 10/06/18 and it does not open. I am using 4.1.2 .Can anyone please help me.

With OpenOffice closed. start TaskManager (Ctrl Shift Esc) and kill any soffice processes shown on TM's processes tab (Details tab on Win10). Close TaskManager and try to start OpenOffice.

That may happen because of over-hasty powering off of computer (or sometimes because of a computer or program crash). It is best to use the formal computer shut-down procedure, then wait a few seconds for all disk activity to cease before cutting the power or closing a laptop lid.
