Writer will not Save
Writer will not Save
Had Open office installed since I switched to Windows 10, when it came out. Never any issues. Today I went to save a document...and nothing. Literally nothing. I clicked the save button and nothing happened. Then I tried the Save As button, nothing happened. I cut and pasted the doc to my google docs just to hold on to it. Then I started trying to trouble shoot. Did a repair through windows...no dice. Uninstalled, reinstalled. Nope. Uninstalled, then rolled back to 4.1.4. No love. Same problem each time. Click file, click either save option, the dialogue box goes away and nothing happens. No error message, nothing to indicate the issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Writer will not Save
Start TaskManager (Ctrl Shift Esc) and Kill any soffice processes shown on TM's tabs. Then try OO again.

Re: Writer will not Save
Hi and welcome to the forum!
You can try to reset your OpenOffice user profile.
Any Windows update? There are some topics about that and Defender that need to be told that AOO is OK IIRC.
