Upgrading OpenOffice

I am unable to upgrade Open Office. Whenever I attempt to do this, it gives me an error saying "Failed. Error reading data from the internet". Can you help. Thank you

Go directly to www.openoffice.org, click on the I Want to Download Openoffice link and then select your language. The Operating System and Version should be set automatically, but you can change those if you want. Click Download Full Installation and you will be redirected to SourceForge. Don't click any links on the SourceForge site, just wait a few seconds for the download. When the download is done, you will have an installation file on your computer that you can double click to do the installation.
