[Solved] Fatal Error on installation of 4.1.5

Hi,
have used Open Office with few problems for a few years but a couple of days ago couldnt access files so downloaded 4.1.5. This will not now open - when i try i get Error Message as follows : "LibreOffice 5.2 Fatal Error. Application cannot be started. Path Manager is not available. cannot find /org.openoffice.Office.Substitution"

I am running it on Sony Vaio laptop, with Windows 8.1

Like i said, worked perfectly till weekend...

Any suggestions - i need it urgently as use it for business accounts and cannot access them!!

The message is mixed: LibreOffice fatal error, but openoffice path; is it LibreOffice you are wanting to install, or OpenOffice? There may be a clash if both are installed at the same time.

If it is OpenOffice please verify that you downloaded only through
http://www.openoffice.org/download

This will redirect you to a local SourceForge server and your download will start automatically in five or so seconds.

Bingo RoryOF !

Well spotted, Libre Office was on the laptop, an old version.
Have deleted it and made OpenOffice the default for all relevant programmes. Seems to be working fine now.
