Can't open OpenOffice
I downloaded 4.1.5 on to my brand new Dell Inspiron 15. The installation seemed to go through without any problems but the program simply won't open. Very frustrated. Please help.

After you downloaded the program, did you double click the exe file and successfully go through its process? If so, what are you doing to start OpenOffice?
One thing to try is opening the Task Manager by pressing CTRL + Shift + ESC and on the Details tab look for processes that start with soffice. Kill those and then try starting OpenOffice.
