I needed some help on Calc, clicked on Help:Open Office Help which brought up the Help window. Not finding what I wanted I clicked 'FInd' tab, put in a search term and clicked Find. A message popped up saying that OO requires a jre to do this task. So I downloaded JRE for windows 64 bit, installed it and restarted OO calc. When I repeated the find procedure I received the same message as before.
So my questions are:
Does OO require JRE 32 bit?
Where does Windows 10 load JRE?
Thanks

Re: Open Office Help
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Indeed, AOO needs the 32bit version of JRE.
Google should find you some links like: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 33155.html
You've to take the x86 version.
