Just how compatible is the 32bit calc on a 64bit OS using Java ? which java would you download 32 or 64bit?

Re: 64BIT OS USING 32BIT CALC PROGRAM
OpenOffice only comes as a 32 bit application; use a 32 bit version of Java which can be installed together with a 64 bit version which is required for other 64 bit applications needing Java.

Calc is written in C++ entirely. There are no Java dependencies unless you want to use a Calc extension that depends on Java.
