Database wants Java runtime. Java 8 is installed on my computer. I've gone to tools>optons>java> and tried to add the folder containing my database. OO insists that Java runtime does not exist in that folder or, apparently, anywhere else on the computer.
What gives.
I have, by the way spent the last 45 minutes searching the net for an answer and can find none.

Re: Java runtime and Database
OpenOffice needs a 32 bit Java. Did you install a 64 bit or 32 bit version? If you installed a 64 bit, you can install a 32 bit also, you don't have to pick one or the other.
