Print and update problems

I tried to update to the latest version and was not able to do so. Norton said the site was dangerous and not valid. Even when this didn't come up it wouldn't update. Said automatic update not available.
Tried printing after I had tried to update and it will no longer print. I get a box asking me to save print output to a file. I can't print. Have no problem with other applications.

Disable Norton, download latest version, check its integrity by methods described in
How to verify the integrity of the downloaded file?.

If it passes, install the downloaded version and then re-enable Norton (which probably needs to be updated).

This is not unusual with outdated versions of Norton.

Edit: These warnings are often what are called "false positives". Also, _only_ download from http://www.openoffice.org/download/
