Hello, having unzipped the OE 4.1.3 file it hasn't installed automatically. How do I install it?

How large is the file? If you used Internet Explorer to download the file, IE can change the file type. It may be necessary to change the file type; before we tell you what to change it to, we do need to know the file size.

What size is the downloaded file before you unzip it? 1.53 GB is utterly wrong - might it be 153 MB?

This is the link I downloaded from the source page; apache-openoffice-4.1.3-r1761381-src.zip
323MB before and 1,53GB after. Sorry I mixed that up.

If you are installing on a Windows machine (your other thread - this thread is Mac specific), the file you need is

The file you have is the file of source code - compilation is possible, but not trivial, and certainly not if you simply require a working OpenOffice.
