AOO 4.1.3 on Windows 10: NSIS error

I'm also having some trouble downloading the 4.1.3 update in Windows 10.

It seems to timeout after a short time, saying the download was interrupted.

I've also had this error message:

Error resized .png (9.91 KiB) Viewed 4001 times

Any suggestions?

A forum search for "NSIS error" (without the quotation marks) brings up a few other topics.

If the download was interrupted, then you may not have a complete installation file. The download page has links that tell how to check the integrity of the download. You should verify that you have a complete and correct download before investigating the NSIS error.

I'd been putting my computer to sleep while downloading, and have read that this will effect the download.

I didn't allow it to sleep for an hour, and although the download was "interrupted", I clicked resume twice and eventually was successful

Was having the same issue. After uninstalling & repeated error messages when trying to re-install, my husband suggested trying ninite.com to download. I did - and it worked perfectly! I'm no expert - just sharing what worked for me!

I love OpenOffice & use it for everything from creating our church's video slide shows to letters to signs for my essential oil business!

Yes JesusGirl1974, a fresh download of the installer usually solves this problem. Downloading using NINITE does that. Thanks, for sharing your solution.
