[Solved] Saving causes crash
[Solved] Saving causes crash
I am using Windows 8 and Open Office 4.1.1. As soon as I choose any save option, the program stops responding and I get the dreaded message that windows needs to close the program. Anyone else with this issue. I cannot survive without my Open Office.

You should start by resetting your User Profile

related strongly to pasting web links or pages
Implications of losing unintended registration and customization with erasing profile is not discussed
I am advancing toward almost total refusal to update programs because of unintended issues that follow in their wake.
It seems the general strategy is to make programs such a PITA that we migrate to online and this is either intended or accepted as an approach.
Help from forums is no longer useful, just a time waster. Maybe that's the message.
