Setup terminates (OpenOffice 4 / Windows 8.1)

Hi,

OS is Win 8.1 Preview with OpenOffice 3.4 installed on it. Yesterday, I updated successfully to OpenOffice 4 on another computer with the same OS and OOo.

However, on the machine that causes trouble, OpenOffice 4.0 setup terminates immediately after the point where you can choose "make a shorcut" and "remove previous versions". It just stops, without any error message, simply saying the setup terminates without having changed anything.

So what is wrong here?
