OOo 3.2 installation fails
OOo 3.2 installation fails
Everytime I try to install openoffice 3.2 on my computer it says, "please exit openoffice.org 3.1 and the openoffice3.1 quickstarter before you continue. Why does it think I have it running? It said the same thing when I tried to uninstall 3.1 (it was broken or something)

LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 25.2 portable on Windows 11.
Re: OOo 3.2 installation fails
I too have this problem. Numerous attempts to uninstall Version 2, downloads, and install attempts all failed.
Previous version ran OK until recently, but last attempts program did not execute; thus reinstall attempts.

What have you tried in the list of proposals listed above?
LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 25.2 portable on Windows 11.
Re: OOo 3.2 installation fails
{Solved} Re installation failure with message 'OO running, shut down, etc.' - Shut down computer, rebooted, and install of OO3.2 proceeded OK. Apparently, earlier failed attempts to run OO fooled Windows into thinking that OO was running???
