Open Office for Windows ME Platform?
I have Windows Me on my computer. Is there a version of OpenOffice I can use?

Latest compatible with Windows ME is 2.4.2.

LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 25.2 portable on Windows 11.
Re: Open Office for Windows ME Platform?
OOo stopped supporting Win98 & ME as of version 3.0.
Older versions are not usually available through the OO.org site, but you should still be able to find a download somewhere of version 2.4.2, the last stable version released before 3.0.
Others here have recommended filehippo.com as a source for older versions of OOo. Hopefully they have it, but I haven't checked.

Interesting. I thought OO.org only has the latest stable version. Thanks for the correction.
Personally, since they still offer it, I would get it from OO.org.

FileHippo and other such sites are a last (or at least second) resort. Always get it from OOo when you can.

2.4.2 is also accessible from the first page of the OOo web page, bottom right in the Other versions section.
