"unknown user" blocked me from opening

Post by teshub43 »

After I downloaded the 4.1.10 version, a template would show up that "unknown user" had blocked me from opening my check register to edit. I could make a copy and edit. But each new edit required a new copy. I restored my computer to before that download. When I try to install, the wizard just begins to load, then disappears. I am completely locked out of Open Office.

Reason: Title edited as it appears to be a different issue; Title was: Check Update Crash

Topic moved from Mac OS section to Windows (per OP signature).
The title still does not seem to reflect the issue.

You can try to remove AOO first and then install the new version.
Then checking the ransomware protection should fix the initial issue.
