After I downloaded the 4.1.10 version, a template would show up that "unknown user" had blocked me from opening my check register to edit. I could make a copy and edit. But each new edit required a new copy. I restored my computer to before that download. When I try to install, the wizard just begins to load, then disappears. I am completely locked out of Open Office.

The title still does not seem to reflect the issue.
You can try to remove AOO first and then install the new version.
Then checking the ransomware protection should fix the initial issue.
