Problem installing AOO 4.1.9 on Windows 10

I have been a user of AOO for quite a long time. A few days ago my current version of OpenOffice was deleted from my computer. I downloaded version 4.1.9 and tried to install it on Windows 10. It installs until the very end and I then get the following message - "ERROR: An error occurred during registration of extensions!" I have no idea what this means and I do hope that you can help me. Thank you.

That most probably means that an existing extension may not be compatible with 4.1.9, or may need to be manually reinstalled. It is probable that OpenOffice has actually installed. If so, open it from the Program Manager, and look at /Tools /Extension Manager to see can you find which extension is in trouble - it will probably be in the list, but ghosted.

No clear fix as far as I can tell after skimming the topics but it some managed to install.
