Access denied

Hi everyone

I am unable to open any of my documents

it comes up with a message

"access to c:/{file name}.odt was denied

I have fully deleted and reinstalled the software but still no joy

Can anyone offer any advice to solve this issue.

If you are using Windows 10, consider that it might be a Windows Defender problem:

Check that Windows 10 is fully updated, and then check your Windows Defender and ransom-ware settings. This tutorial should be helpful:

it comes up with a message

"access to c:/{file name}.odt was denied

Why is your file in C:/? That is the root directory which you don't own. Your files should be in C:/Users/<username>/ which you do own.
