[Solved] Writer suddenly only types in huge bold text

I have used OpenOffice writer for a long time. Today, when I open a file, any file, the page has been moved down and to the right and it will only show huge bold text and will only type in huge bold text. How do I fix this and how did it happen? Help! Thank you

Look at bottom right of OpenOffice window. Click on the single page icon (leftmost of the group of icons). Then pull the nearby slider or double click on the % box in righthand corner and choose whatever scaling factor you like best.

Fixed, thank you very much. It keeps reverting to the weird page when I go to a new file. Why does it keep changing? Any way to stop it? I appreciate the help, thought I'd gone crazy!

Set the settings as you wish them and save the file(s). Be careful not to drag your cursor over the bottom right of the screen. If you are using a laptop you may be brushing the touchpad inadvertently.

The only items I can spot on the bottom right hand of the Open Office screen are the 3 scroll arrow icons.

My OpenOffice screen only has scrolling arrows on the bottom right hand area of the screen.

/View /Status bar should turn on the bottom bar of the OpenOffice window and you should see three little icons there.
