Greetings,
I recently migrated from MS Works DB 1995 to OpenOffice.
After creating an OpenOffice Base and trying to insert a new record I get the following error message:
How can I resolve this error and add my new record?
Regards,
Dennis

Re: OpenOffice Base Table Data View << Error inserting the n
The error message is telling you that it can't add the new record because one of the columns in your new record has a null value, and the database has been instructed not to accept a null value for that column. Looking at your upload I suspect it is the ID column.
The best solution would be to open your table in the Edit mode and looking near the bottom left of the window change Auto Value to Yes for the ID column.
