[Closed] Calc file is bad ??

Post by Latheart »

We have deleted that bad file from our PC and we went back to a older one

After updating to the new version, my Calc file looks like this: database/logÓ×r6ÔÒ#v
It did worked with previous versions..
I tried to open previous = database/logÓ×r6ÔÒ#v
I also get the asvii dialog box and tried all the two English ver listed
Same issue ....database/logÓ×r6ÔÒ#v
So did this new version wreck my older (ver) files?
Are they gone forever?

Welcome to the forum.

Upload the file so that it can be analysed. Use the Upload attachment tab below where you type (128 kB max) or use a file share site for a larger file.
LO 6.4.4.2, Windows 10 Home 64 bit

See the Writer Guide, the Writer FAQ, the Writer Tutorials and Writer for students.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.

I am sorry John but I can not. This is a private one.
