odb connection error

Hello. My ODB file is not loading on my new computer. I keep getting the "can't establish a connection" error. I've read some of the post on this topic, however I'm a bit confused since this file works just fine on my old computer. Any help on how to get this file to open would be most appreciated.
OpenOffice 4.1.1 on Windows 7

Install a 32-bit Java from https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp (NOT the 64-bit). Select that Java in Tools>Options>Java and restart the office suite.
