How to use existing table entries in dropdown (Total newb)

Post by PMarcotte »

Hi guys,

I'm trying to build a DB to catalog homemade jewelery. I have a "Items" (beads, chains, locks, etc.) table and a "Jewelery" table, but how can I create a form that will allow me to insert existing "Items" in new "Jewelery" records? Like dropdown boxes?

Thanks

Relational database design is not an intuitive process and takes some time and effort to learn.
Look here for a tutorial which covers many aspects of database design using Base:

Also look at some of the tutorials on this forum
