Shared (single user, non concurrent) split database

Post by MPEcho »

Greetings all:

Previously posted in "Tutorials" My apologies. Hopefully now in the right spot.

I had an embedded db documetn converted to a split database using Villeroy's macro here
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=86071

I now need to share it between two users. Currently this is being done across a cloud service. (Yes, I know that only one user can use it at a time, HSQLDB server is my next project.)

Each user has to re-run the macro before their use to connect to the database. Is there a way to make this happen automatically?

Set up your database server. Its easier and better.
