Hi All,
Some interesting.
I am trying to create a pivot table in Calc, using split database HSQLDB 2.3.4 and LO 5.2.1.2.
The database is registered, and can be selected via Insert>Pivot Table.
When trying to select a table or Query, the dropdown is empty.
That is not what I would like to see.
Any thoughts?
09/10/2016 UPDATE: it is an issue under Windows 7 PRO. It does work under Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Works fine with LO 5.1.4 on Ubuntu connecting to a HSQL server.
Can you right-click the db in the data source window and open it from there? This is a way to test if the registered database is the one I have in mind.
Can you see the query definitions in the data source window?
Can you type in the correct query name into the Calc dialog?
Can you paste the querie's SQL string into the Calc dialog?

As indicated, Yes on Ubuntu, but No on Windows.Villeroy wrote:Works fine with LO 5.1.4 on Ubuntu connecting to a HSQL server.

Stupid Question: What is the "data source window"
I can open the database itself and use it. I use a synchronized copy of itself (that is odb-file, hsqldb.jar, and the -backup, -data. -lob, -properties, and -script files in there own folder) on either Windows or Ubuntu as a stand alone db at this point. I do not connect to it via a Server.
