Storing Sensitive Data

Post by Vampyer »

Hey everyone,

I've created a database for a company I'm volunteering for but it stores some sensitive data. Is there a way to have standard text like this: Standard Text - to appear like this: ******** **** or something similar?

Also, is there a way to revert the changes when needed? For example by typing in an Admin password?

Thanks,

Vamp

This type of database does not provide anything like that. You may use other types of databases with AOO/LO Base. A true database can grant privileges to groups of users so some users can't read certain fields, some can read certain fields and others can read and write certain fields.
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.
