Numbers won't print on my labels ???

I'm new to database .. patience please. Am preparing database for our Quilt show. Each Quilt has a number and each Quilter has a number. When I print the information on labels, all the text data prints perfect, but the numbers won't print. Initially when entering the data, I used number format, then changed it to text format, then changed it to integer format. Nothing works. Am I doing something wrong ? thanks.

What kind of data source are you using? A spreadsheet, maybe? Or maybe the database that comes with OpenOffice?

Sir : I'm trying to print the information on Avery labels 8164. Got instructions for printing labels from Apache OpenOffice Wiki, saved the printing format as a template. The text data prints accurately in the correct position, but the numbers will not print. thanks.

Unless you absolutely need numbers for some reason the data field needs to actually be text. I don't remember the reason why but it is necessary. For example US zip codes need to entered as text.
